Who Gets It
Any individual who has graduated from the university.
How Does It Work if You Are Affiliated with the University in Another Capacity (i.e., Employee, Retiree, or Student)
If you have multiple affiliations, you will always use the affiliation that gives you the largest benefit.
For example (for more details, see Understanding Storage and Services for Google and Microsoft Based on Constituent Groups)
Employee + Alumni |
Routed to Exchange Online, 5 GB Google Workspace storage which includes Drive (expandable as an employee). |
Student + Alumni |
Routed to Exchange Online, 5 GB Google Workspace storage which includes Drive (not expandable). |
Retiree before 6/2/2024 + Alumni |
Routed to Gmail, 10 GB Google Workspace Storage which includes Drive (not expandable) |
Retiree on or after 6/2/2024 + Alumni |
Routed to Exchange Online, 5 GB Google Workspace storage which includes Drive (not expandable) |
As for email, if the service is enabled as an alum, but if you are an employee or student, you cannot route your email there. Employees and students are required to use Exchange Online for email and calendaring.
