Using the My Collaborative Accounts Tool (MyCAT)


Introduction

MyCAT (https://mycat.ccs.vt.edu) is a tool provided by Collaborative Computing Solutions (CCS) that allows you to learn and control more about your presence within the Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 (M365) environments. There are many things you can do with this tool. Some common tasks are

  • Set your email routing (this will soon be deprecated with the Google Workspace transition)
  • Learn who your Hokies Active Directory organizational unit (OU) admins and network liaison are
  • Reset your Hokies (not PID) password
  • Understand your storage usage and presence within the Google Workspace and M365 environments.
  • Recommend a course of action to your OU admin regarding shared drives you are a manager of
