Introduction
Slack channel messages can accumulate. This can make it difficult to find past messages. By using the Advanced Search, you can narrow your results to show the most relevant information. One of the ways to do this, is by excluding entire channels in your search results.
Instructions
- Open Slack
- Click on the Virginia Tech workspace name
- Click Preferences
- Click Advanced
- Under Search options, enter the channel names you want to exclude from the search results
