This article describes when and how a new student will receive access to their Microsoft 365 (M365) Undergraduate Bundle.
Incoming students are required to purchase a Microsoft Campus Agreement (CA) Software Bundle. This ensures that all students have access to the latest version of Office and the Windows operating system. This bundle provides access and updates to the software provided as long as the student is enrolled in "for credit" courses.
After the bundle is purchased, and once virtual orientation begins, students will begin to receive emails with a link to accept the licensing terms. After accepting the licensing terms, students will receive access to M365 applications within 30 minutes.
If you’re a first-year undergraduate student coming to Virginia Tech in the fall, access to the Microsoft Windows OS component of the Undergraduate Bundle won’t be available until the start of Fall check-in.
