To request an M65 Group, use Departmental Team, SharePoint Site, or M365 Group (vt.edu).

You may invite members external from the university to participate in private or public groups. However, if they do not have Microsoft 365, they will have limited access to group features.

All Microsoft 365 Groups created at Virginia Tech must adhere to the Acceptable Use of Information Systems at Virginia Tech policy. Beginning on August 16, 2024, only faculty and staff may request Microsoft 365 Groups.
