Using a Proxy with VT Desktop Alerts

Instructions

  1. Click Start.
  2. Type: command prompt.
  3. As you type, results will appear and change. Right-click Command Prompt.
  4. Click Run as administrator.
  5. In the user account control window, click Yes.
  6. At the command prompt, type: netsh winhttp set proxy-server="http=ABC". 
    (Replace ABC with the name or address of your proxy server.)
