This article explains how to check Google Workspace storage for My Drive, shared drives, Gmail, and Photos.

Checking personal drive (My Drive, Gmail, Photos) from within Google Drive

1. Log in to Google Drive.
2. View the total storage number at the bottom of the navigation. This value includes My Drive, Gmail, and Photos.

   

3. Click on Storage to view the details.

   

Checking shared drives from within MyCAT

1. Log into MyCAT. You may be required to use VPN if you are not on campus.
2. Scroll down till you see the Google section.
3. Expand the Google section.

   

4. Expand the Shared Drives section.

   

5. You can filter the shared drives based on role.
   1. The “Unknown” Role is likely from being a member of a Google group that was invited to the shared drive rather than you as an individual.
