Changing Roles

  1. Visit Microsoft Office Home
  2. Select the Teams icon
  3. Access the team where you would like to change member roles
  4. Select the ellipses next to the team's name
  5. Select Manage Team

  6. Select a members Role in the right-hand column to open a drop-down menu with available roles
  7. Select the desired role of the member

Orphaned Team

In some cases, a team may become "orphaned" if the team's owner leaves without appointing any other member as an owner. If this is the case or you cannot get in contact with your team owner, you can submit a request for ownership transfer.
