Rhino 7 - macOS
1. Access https://network.software.vt.edu and login using your VT PID and password. Select Rhino Software and then choose, Rhino 7.1 for MacOS.
2. After accepting the licensing terms, click the Product Key(s) button to obtain your product key. The product key is necessary for activation, so write down or copy the product key.
3. Click the Download button to begin the download. Once the download has completed, double-click the downloaded file to mount the installer.
4. When the window opens, drag the Rhinoceros icon to the Applications folder.
5. Upon opening Rhino 7 for the first time, you will be asked to review and accept the license agreement and privacy policy. Read through both and then check the box next to I have read and agree to: to accept the terms.
6. Next, you will be asked to provide a license. Select Enter your license key in the licensing window.
7. Now, enter the license key you obtained in step 2 and click Continue.
8. You will then be asked whether you would like to Add [the license] To Your Rhino Account or Use [the license] Only on This Computer. This is entirely your choice. Make your selection and then provide the necessary information to activate Rhino 7.
Rhino 7 - Windows
1. Access https://network.software.vt.edu and login using your VT PID and password. Select Rhino Software and then choose, Rhino 7.1 for Windows.
2. After accepting the licensing terms, click the Product Key(s) button to obtain your product key. The product key is necessary for activation, so write down or copy the product key.
3. Click the Download button to begin the download. Once the download has completed, double-click the downloaded file to run the installer.
4. When the installer opens, click Install Now to begin installation.
5. Once installation is complete, click Close to exit the installer.
