Chrome Device Enrollment Process


Introduction

This article provides the required steps for enrolling Chrome devices. 

Instructions

  1. Purchase a license
    • Acquire the appropriate Google Chrome Upgrade license for your Chrome device.
    • Purchase through your normal channels (e.g., HokieMart).
    • ESET can assist with the license purchase if needed, through our Burwood VAR Google reseller.
  2. Submit support ticket
    • Include the following information:
      • A note that you are requesting device enrollment.
      • The name of the admin who will be enrolling the device. The designated admin will be granted temporary enrollment permissions.
      • The serial number(s) of the device(s).
  3. Enroll the device
    • The assigned admin can now proceed to enroll the device.
  4. Notify of completion
    • Once enrollment is complete, notify the support team through the ticket. The device will then be moved into the Organizational Unit (OU) for your department, enabling full management capabilities.
